So I didn’t get to touch The Man Who Sold The World because it was framed and up on a wall, but Mike gave me Young Americans for free. Who ever owned it scribbled in the white of the letters.. Moron. We conversed for a good hour about music and I asked if he ever needed help with anything, like setting up for shows I would be more than glad to devote my time and volunteer. This place is amazing. On the days he might be busy he’s going to leave me in charge of the museum. It’s only open Saturdays from 1 - 4 pm. I’ll get to just hang around and admire all the wonderful memorabilia galore and more and listen to vinyl and be a tour guide. I’m so excited. I also told him I like to sing and when he puts guitar student showcases together and has people doing vocals I will be one of them next time. Life is good.
